What is a high current switch?
High current switches have very low contact resistance. They are used for power supply, radio frequency, capacitor discharge, pulse, transmission and tap selection. They are used for low and high voltage power loads or with multiple capacitor banks for isolated no-load selection, transmission or grounding.
How much current is called large current?
There are many common types of switches, and their rated currents are also different. Common 63 types are 1A, 3A, 6A, 10A, 16A, 20A, 25A, 32A, 40A, 50A, 63A; 100 type has 63A, 80A, 100A.In the types of small metal buttons, the rated current value is generally 5A, so metal switches larger than 5A can be called high current switches.
Among the main button types of Yueqing Dahe Electric Co., Ltd., most of the products such as AGQ series, S1GQ series, GQ22-11 series are 5A current, GQ12-10, metal signal lights and other small buttons are rated at 50mA or 20mA small current. The newly developed D22C is a 10A high current pin metal switch series with 22mm mounting holes and 1no1nc. D16C and D19C are metal 10amp pushbutton switch series with 16mm, 19mm mounting holes. The most complex and diverse GQ series – several buttons that are normally open are all 2A or 3A current.
Is the difference between the high current metal switch and other buttons only the current?
Generally speaking, it is indeed only the difference in current, but because the ability of technology research and development is not strong enough, most button switch manufacturers can produce high-current button switches but there are limitations.The function of the high-current button is not as rich as that of the conventional button. It still takes a certain amount of time and experience to develop a feature-rich high-current button.
